Soon will be learning about matter and energy. Some of the things we will explore is how different forces such as a pull or a push, can effect movement of an object. We will begin this unit in less than two weeks so I thought I could get you ready by suggesting something to think about. Go to the Canada's Wonderland web site and have a look at the roller coasters and various rides. Investigate the different kinds of rides and try to determine what forces may cause the ride to speed up, slow down, or change direction. Also take a look at
forces causing movement for a fun way to become familiar with this unit.
